The International Alliance of Mental Health Research Funders (IAMHRF) unites funders across borders to make strategic mental health research investments with the goal of saving lives, and improving treatments and care for patients and their families.
Under the Graham Boeckh Foundation’s leadership, the IAMHRF has grown from a handful of members to over 30 members and partner organizations that help advance the global mental health research agenda.
The Graham Boeckh Foundation, in collaboration with other mental health research funders, pioneered the IAMHRF in 2010 to increase impact of research investments. Nowadays, the forum unites some of the largest and most innovative mental health research funders. It is leading international conversations on research funding, is promoting mental health knowledge exchange and collaboration, and aims to align strategic global mental health research agendas.
The Graham Boeckh Foundation is the key link that grows and nurtures the network. It connects with research funders and brings them on board, engages members around collaborative initiatives, and organizes networking events.
