Frayme is a pan-Canadian knowledge transfer and mobilization platform focused on sharing knowledge, connecting people and organizations, and supporting practice and policy change for better youth mental healthcare. Key stakeholders of the network include youth, families, service providers, researchers, policy makers, philanthropy, and other non-government and not-for-profit organizations.
With over 400 partners in Canada and abroad, Frayme offers a unique opportunity to gather the latest knowledge in youth mental health, accelerate the implementation of integrated, stepped care models and ensure young people everywhere are supported to live healthy lives.
The initiative is the result of the 2017 Networks of Centres of Excellence International Knowledge Translation Platforms competition (NCE-IKTP), an investment by the Government of Canada into networks that will share knowledge and best practices and mobilize society to implement them. In 2020, the network received funding from Health Canada to support knowledge exchange and mobilization related to Integrated Youth Services. The network is also funded by many other supporters, including philanthropic organizations such as the Graham Boeckh Foundation.
