The Coalition for Access to Psychotherapy (CAP) was convened in March 2013 by the Graham Boeckh Foundation and the Mental Illness Foundation to widen access to psychotherapy services in Quebec.
This initiative stems from one of the recommendations made by the Health and Welfare Commissioner of Quebec (CSBE) in his report, published in December 2012, on mental health services.  It is also based on studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of increased access to psychotherapy services and the advantages that it provides to individuals and to society.

The CAP seeks to inform the public on issues surrounding access to psychotherapy services.  It also works with relevant government agencies on the development of strategies to advance this important dossier. For more information on the CAP, see the following website:
